Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Gen8 and Gen9?
Both have server-grade Xeon CPUs. Gen8 with DDR3 is proven, cheaper hardware; Gen9 has a newer CPU and DDR4. For most sites and services Gen8 is enough.
How long does delivery take?
Under 12 hours after payment is confirmed. The server is provisioned by hand and login details appear in the client panel and your email.
Is traffic really unlimited?
Yes, on the plan's port (100 Mbps to 1 Gbps). No monthly allowance and no traffic bill; only the Acceptable Use Policy applies.
Is there a setup fee?
No. The monthly price is everything; no setup fee, no deposit.
Do you take backups?
Not yet. Backups are your responsibility; a mirrored disk pair helps, but it does not replace a backup kept off the server.
Why a German IP but a server in the Netherlands?
Your IP is registered in Germany and shows as German everywhere; the hardware is in a Netherlands data center, a few hundred kilometers away on the same Western European network.
